Despite having a fitness centric upbringing, Kishlay decided to pursue engineering as a bright student in his college years. However, the lure of and his passion for fitness was too great to be overcome by the stability of an engineering profession, so he carved out a successful career for himself in fitness. He also excelled in the rigorous balance teacher training course owing to certain inherent qualities such as punctuality, respect, dedication and loyalty. Kishlay believes his source of strength lies in realizing and working on his own shortcomings.
