Vinay Sharma conjures an image of a highly responsible and conscientious man owing to the responsibilities cast on him as the eldest son of his family. As a child, he was drawn to gymnastics on noticing a neighbour performing the tempting feats of handstand and hand-walk. Subsequently, he entered the business profession for a period of 30 years in order to support his family. However, his life changed considerably when he started experiencing a chronic lower back issue and general health decline which pushed him to  enrol at the Shivananda Ashram Nayardam. Therein, he experienced a complete overhaul of his lifestyle which involved a physical and mental cleansing and transformation.

Subsequently, he joined a six month Balance Fitness Certification Course at Flexible Fitness in Goa and he became a certified Fitness Coach. In this course of time, he was completely relieved of his back pain which prompted him to become a guiding light for people in their journey towards a healthy lifestyle. Currently he is 52 years old living in Goa as a coach and teaching several other people towards their better health.
